As an established power line equipment supplier, we would like to contribute to green energy as much as possible in the years to come, therefore we have been for several years developing products which reduce the carbon footprint of the energy supplied to the end user. RAM-1 smart IoT device helps to achieve exactly this furthermore it reduces operating costs.
We prepared an online carbon emission calculator which demonstrates to the customer their contribution to carbon emission savings by installing the RAM-1 device. The calculator incorporates carbon savings due to power grid losses, cost savings due to power outage prevention as well as a tree comparison demonstration. Our calculations show that approximately 12 tons of CO2 emissions per year can be prevented by installing just one RAM-1 device and by extrapolating this number on a larger scale grid the number will exponentially increase. By implementing RAM-1 monitoring system national wide the countries carbon footprint reduction is significant.
